We had so much fun telling you about our favorite places to visit in Jacksonville, Florida last month that we're doing it again! When we're not treating patients with acupuncture, giving massages, facilitating healing with reiki, or giving the most amazing organic facials, here's how our staff likes to spend our time here in our hometown of Jacksonville: Kayli - Is our Front Desk Lead, and you'll often see her around the office, at the front desk, or hear her over the phone doing her best to make your experience at The Wellness Hub outstanding. Kayli loves healthy, fresh food and is in love with Kairos Juice Bar for delicious and nourishing meals and treats. If you're in the Riverside area of Jacksonville, Kayli recommends Brew 5 Points for a quick snack or coffee. After eating such good food and drinks, she recommends the Jacksonville Arboretum to take a stroll among the trees and gardens. Heather - Heather specializes in clinical massage and deep tissue massage for pain relief, as well as the Graston technique. Heather is a fan of the ambiance, drinks and food at the locally-owned Culhane's Irish Pub. If you're a music fan (or even if you are not, you will still love it!) Heather recommends the music festival PorchFest, held in the Springfield neighborhood of Jacksonville in the fall of each year. Local musicians gather on the porches of historic homes and put on a bunch of mini-concerts. A fun time is had by all! Mandy - One of our holistic estheticians, Mandy offers amazing relaxing and skin-soothing facials at The Wellness Hub. Mandy is a big fan of The Floridian restaurant in St Augustine for their vegetarian-friendly options and their locally sourced ingredients. In her spare time when she's not at The Wellness Hub or with family, Mandy keeps a blog focused on sustainable and eco-friendly beauty, you can check it out at Pretty Simple Beauty. James - James, a massage therapist at The Wellness Hub specializing in clinical neuromuscular massage therapy and deep tissue massage for pain relief as well as manual lymphatic drainage, says the best Thai food in Jacksonville is at Bounxouthai in the Mandarin neighborhood. He is also a fan of The Urban Bean Coffeehouse in Orange Park, for its relaxed vibe, local eats and good coffee. He also puts in another vote for the Jacksonville Arboretum as well! Savannah - Savannah is one of our extraordinary front desk helpers. She is relatively new to Jacksonville, originally from California by way of Hawaii. Since arriving in Jax, one of Savannah's favorite hangouts is Ed Austin Regional Park, where she likes to take her dog on walks and to the dog park. Rosemarie - Rosemarie is an Acupuncture Physician at the Wellness Hub, working with Be Well Healing Arts. Rosemarie has lived in Jacksonville for years but originally hails from Jamaica. She loves the food from Stars Caribbean Restaurant and recommends it to anyone wanting to get a taste of her home country. Alyssa - Alyssa is one of our awesome massage therapists at The Wellness Hub, who has a following of loyal clients for her deep tissue and relaxation massage techniques. Alyssa's recommendation for her favorite spot in Jacksonville is Orange Blossoms Cafe - where they serve up some great southern dishes for breakfast, brunch and lunch. We hope you'll visit all of these places, whether you are a longtime Jacksonville native, or just passing through this summer. We also hope to see you at our center The Wellness Hub to receive a therapeutic massage, healing acupuncture treatment or divine facial. ----- We are pleased to serve the following Florida communities with massage therapy, chiropractic, organic skincare, acupuncture, red light therapy and more: Jacksonville, Orange Park, Fleming Island, Jacksonville Beach, Nocatee, St Johns, Ponte Vedra and more. |
